Journey Together Ministries is a non-profit orphan care missional community based out of Charleston, SC.
Journey Together Ministries is a non-profit organization functioning as a missional community. Our leadership team is discipled by the Pastoral Staff at Seacoast Church. Our community is made up of Christian couples attending churches from all over the Charleston area. Our mission is to disciple, equip and mobilize the church to care for vulnerable and orphaned children through the process of adoption, foster care and orphan care. We accomplish our mission by supporting families financially, emotionally and spiritually throughout the process of adoption and post adoption and by bringing awareness to the needs of orphans both domestically and internationally.
Our community consists of Christian couples and individuals who are:

seeking information on domestic and international adoption or foster care

families who are considering adoption after battling infertility

in process of adoption or foster care

couples who have already adopted or fostered and serve as a support and resource for other couples on this journey

families who are passionate about supporting orphan care and adoption through a variety of unique fundraising projects

families who have walked away from becoming empty-nesters to start over as parents through adoption
Our community holds monthly gatherings at Seacoast Church that focus on informational topics relating to adoption, foster care and orphan care. We also discuss ministry opportunities and plan events to fund raise and support the couples in our community pursuing adoption/foster care. Several of our families are in playgroups or community groups and meet on a regular basis throughout the week.
