Adoption FAQs:
How is Journey Together Structured?
Journey Together Ministries is a non-profit ministry functioning in the Church as a missional community. Our executive leadership team is discipled by and accountable to the Pastoral Staff at Seacoast Church. However, our heart is to serve and connect all Charleston area churches to unite for the purpose of the vulnerable and orphaned children. We have a team of board members that over see the non-profit side of our organization. Our Journey Coordinators are also considered leaders and volunteer in specific roles, advise on educational information, act as contact families for our community, and use their incredible gifts to serve within the ministry
At this time, all of our staff are volunteers with full-time careers. Our leadership requirements and structure are growing continually and we are grateful for how God is using our team
Do you partner with other ministries or organizations?
At this time, the Journey Together executive team prayerfully considers our partners, influencers and/or organizations that we actively promote within our organization. Below is a list of our current Journey Together Friends.
Journey Together Friends:
Together For Adoption
Vision from Dan Cruver
Mercy Child Care in Uganda
Vision from Pastor Wilfred Rugumba

Vision from Mike and Deena Van't Hul
Can you help me pick an agency?
We have families who have adopted through several of the local agencies in our area and have worked most recently and closely with A Chosen Child, Bethany Christian Services, Nightlight and Lifeline Children Services. We recommend that you contact these agencies for basic details on agency procedures and country qualifications. We will hold informational meetings once or twice a year where we invite these agencies, as well as representatives from the South Carolina Department of Social Services and a local adoption attorney.
